I love Philly’s Old City! If you’ve never been to Old City in Philadelphia, I highly recommend a stroll through the neighborhood. It has all of the charm and character that you’d expect from one of the oldest Philly neighborhoods, along with lots of historic sights to see. From sightseeing tour buses buzzing by, to tourist groups chattering on, there’s never a dull moment here in this beautiful part of town. So it makes sense why it’s one of my favorite places to shoot!
While there are sooo many amazing locations in Old City for a photo session, one of my favorites for family sessions is a little cobblestone pathway right by the First Bank of the United States. You get all of the charm of Old City while being a little tucked away from all of the tourist hustle and bustle.
Stacey and Josh and their two kids looked like they walked out of a magazine cover as I watched them approach the First Bank (their outfit coordination was on point!). Their little guy and I immediately began an in-depth conversation about the color of the changing fall leaves as we made our way over to the cobblestone walkway. And then when we got to our spot, the magic began! Not only were their outfits magazine-worthy, so were their smiles and poses! They definitely rank in one of my most photogenic families! It was an absolute blast playing with this fam and taking their photos. I am so glad they are an MJP family, and I cannot wait to serve them again in the future!
