Hi, I'm Melissa
I am so glad you are here! I'm a Philadelphia newborn, maternity, and family photographer, as well as a mom of two who knows firsthand how crazy life with little ones can be.
My favorite thing about in-home newborn sessions is that you don't have to make your life look perfect before I arrive. I'll work around feedings, diaper changes, toddlers, pets, messy rooms and everything else that comes with bringing home a new baby.
My job is to make the experience feel easy while creating photographs that feel like your family. I can't wait to serve you!
Newborn photos without leaving the house

Before your baby is born, we will have already secured your session. Then once you baby arrives, you'll reach out to get an actual session date on the calendar.

I'll bring swaddles, anything from my client closet you want to borrow, and else we need. You don't need to prepare your home like a studio.

Feed, change, cuddle, pause, repeat. There's no pressure for your baby to “perform.”

Your finished gallery will be delivered in 2 weeks and includes the tiny details, the big family moments, and everything in between.

What if my house isn't "Pinterest perfect"?
That is totally ok! I don't need your whole house. I look for beautiful pockets of light and the spaces where your family naturally gathers, and I'll move things around when needed and guide you toward the best light.
Your home doesn't have to look like a photography studio. It just needs to be yours!

I take a limited number of newborn families each month so I can dedicate my full attention to each session. Reach out as soon as you can to book your in-home newborn session.
